Planning & Zoning Meeting CANCELLED
The Planning & Zoning Meeting that would have been rescheduled for Monday, November 2, at 5:00 PM due to the election, has been cancelled for November.
Decatur Christmas Parade
Parade will start at City Hall (Decatur Municipal Building), 310 Maple Avenue, and end at Veterans Park, 1105 N. Main St.
Veterans Honor Ceremony
Parade and lunch, starting with Parade Lineup at the Car Wash at 10:00 AM and beginning at 10:30 AM, going to Veterans Park with lunch provided and a ceremony.
Fall Cleanup
WM will provide dumpsters and people to help unload south of the Decatur Municipal Building.
Chamber of Commerce Meeting
Chamber meeting will be held in the community room around the back of the Decatur Municipal Building.
116th Birthday & Firetruck Dedication
Come celebrate the 116th birthday of the Decatur, AR Depot & Museum from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, with a Firetruck dedication at 1:00 PM.
Pickin' Time on 59
Pickin’ Time on 59 is an annual free yard sale event that expands from Sulphur Springs to Siloam Springs on Highway 59. Shoppers can browse for antiques, collectables, unique finds and typical yard sale items. If interested in participating in selling information, contact one of the cities or go to their Facebook page “Pickin’ Time on 59”. September 24-26, 2026. Beginning and ending times each day can vary for each seller.

Revenue Office is open on the first and fourth Wednesdays of the from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. They are closed from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM for lunch.

72nd Decatur BBQ Fest
The 72nd Decatur BBQ Fest is an annual event hosted by the Decatur Arkansas Chamber of Commerce that brings people together not just from Decatur, but from many other areas to celebrate and enjoy the day. Events ranging from a car, truck and motorcycle show, beauty pageant, watermelon eating contest, cookoff, parade, food truck, booths, entertainment, fireworks and more, it is a day to be enjoyed by all ages.
